Funkyard Brass Band

Whether rocking out to familiar tunes at your favorite bar or bringing the fire to a New Orleans-style second line, the Funkyard Brass Band is looking to bring the fun… and the funk!

Established in 2022, the group transcends genres, blending traditional brass sounds with contemporary pop hits in pursuit of a good time. Inspired by New Orleans second line and brass funk traditions, Funkyard has captivated audiences across the Fingerlakes region with its signature high-energy sound.

We're consistent, crowd-pleasing, family-friendly, and always prepared. Our versatility allows us to excel equally at intimate wine bars, festivals, outdoor markets, and energetic street performances.

Instrumentation: 2 trombones, alto & tenor saxophone, trumpet, sousaphone (tuba), drum kit

• Standard Set - 1-1.5 hours - Private events, brewery/winery performances, and festival slots
• Extended Performance - 2-3 hours (with breaks) - Full evening entertainment, featuring multiple sets with varied repertoire

We can perform acoustically or amplified.
